A community-driven project where fans can stay in and own a part of the iconic location where Stranger Things was filmed.

Who We Are

Hi! We're Carla, Bret, and Ale, and we're huge fans of Stranger Things. We're excited to share that we've purchased The Byers House, the iconic location that served as the home of Joyce, Jonathan, and Will Byers. With your help we want to transform this property into a one-of-a-kind immersive vacation rental made for fans and by fans of Stranger Things.

The Project

This project will be a collaborative effort, which is why we're inviting the broader fan community to provide input throughout the creative process. Plus, The Byers House will be 100% owned by fans like you. For as little as $100, you can become a partial owner and earn rental income from the property. Traveler Experience

The Byers House will have sleeping arrangements to accommodate up to 8 people. We aim to faithfully pay homage to the interior and exterior sets featured in the show, complete with hidden surprises and Easter eggs around every corner. The property's theme will also be period-accurate, with an abundance of 80's nostalgia. Guests will be able to enjoy hanging out in Jonathan's bedroom and listening to vinyl records, sitting on the couch by the interactive Christmas light wall and re-watching the show, or playing D&D in the upside-down inspired den. Outside the house, guests will be able to explore the 6 acre property on old-school BMX bikes, communicate through oldschool walkie talkies, and visit Castle Byers and Billy's Grave.

Funding

We intend to raise funds to renovate, decorate and manage this vacation rental property by selling shares of the property to other fans on the real estate crowdfunding platform Arrived, which has successfully funded over 360 properties worth $130M. This way the house will be forever owned by the fans of the show. Arrived is choosing to forego any sourcing revenue on the property and will help with the ongoing management of the vacation rental. Investors will have the opportunity to buy shares starting at $100 and earn rental income generated by the property on a monthly basis. Booking a Stay at the Property

Once this property has been renovated and is ready for guests, we plan to list it on rental sites such as Airbnb so any fan can book a stay and visit the property themselves.

Design and furnishing

Below is a preliminary design proposal with floor plans, mood boards, and graphic sketches. However, before finalizing the plan, we need to evaluate its feasibility within our budget to scope the final design.
