While real estate has been one of the most consistent ways to build wealth in America, now more than ever it is out of reach of tens of millions of people.
One year ago Arrived launched its first House IPO, a process that enabled anyone in America to own a piece of an actual rental home starting at $100. Our goal was to break down barriers of property ownership and help our customers access the wealth-building potential of single-family rentals. With Arrived, clients would not need the time to study the market, expertise in rental home investing, or access to large amounts of capital.
Since launching last year, the interest has been remarkable. With our last batch of House IPOs we saw a 100x increase in traffic and we have now helped thousands of clients invest in over $40M in property value, spread across more than 100 homes and 16 cities. In the process we have helped build over $1 million in new wealth for our clients. We have also introduced revolutionary product features like live house share prices that enable investors to track their investments in real time.
To keep pace with this incredible demand, today we are excited to announce the next step in our journey. We are partnering with Forerunner Ventures to lead our Series A – a $25M equity investment that we plan to leverage to continue to expand to new markets, add new asset types like short term rentals, and grow our wonderful team.
Returning investors include Bezos Expeditions (the personal investment company of Jeff Bezos), Good Friends (a venture fund run by the CEOs and co-founders of Warby Parker, Harry’s, and Allbirds), Spencer Rascoff (former CEO of Zillow), Core Innovation Capital, PSL Ventures, Dara Khosrowshahi (CEO of Uber), and Neo (Ali Partovi’s venture fund).
Our mission is to empower the world to build wealth through modern real estate investing. To get there we are creating an entirely new category for investing. This is just the beginning and we have so much more in store
